One of fewer
than 50 PGA Professionals Certified in Golf Instruction, Steve Mitchell
brings an impressive resume having spent the last ten years heading the
golf schools at the world famous Kiawah Island Golf Resort. While at
Kiawah, Mitchell was ranked by Golf Digest as a Top 5 Instructor in
South Carolina and was recognized as one of the Top Teachers in the
Southeast by Golf Magazine. He has made a guest appearance on The Golf
Channel’s Academy Live program, is an Associate Instruction Editor for
Golf Tips Magazine and has served as the Swing Coach for the College of
Charleston Women’s Golf Team. Steve believes that each golfer has a
“best swing” and he strives to help his students create a consistent
repetition of sound golf fundamentals.

Craig A. Riddle
is the General Manager at Bear’s Best Atlanta. Bear’s Best Atlanta is a
Premier Daily Fee Golf Course located just north of Atlanta. The course
features 18-holes selected by Jack Nicklaus from his 200 course designs
worldwide.
Craig joined the company in May 2005. Prior to his employment at
ClubCorp, Craig worked in General Manager positions for both Links Corp.
and Mesa Golf on Hilton Head Island.
Craig has been a member of the PGA since 1999, and he holds a bachelor’s
degree from Ferris State University, were he studied business marketing
with an emphasis on the Professional Golf Management Program.

Prior to joining the Bear’s Best team, Cole was the assistant golf
professional at The Manor Golf and Country Club in Alpharetta, Georgia.
At The Manor Cole worked closely with the Head Golf Professional
developing the golf operation for an opening club. Cole graduated from
The Florida State University with degrees in both Professional Golf
Management and Business Hospitality. Through his time at Florida State
he completed the Professional Golfers’ Association of America’s three
levels of curriculum. He was elected to P.G.A. membership in January of
2007. While in school Cole completed internships at both private and
public golf courses in Texas, Florida, and Georgia. Two of these
internships were here at Bear’s Best for two consecutive years. Cole has
five years of teaching experience with both private and group lessons.
